Franklin Woman's Club Spreads Holiday Cheer

Santa’s elves are not the only ones who spread holiday cheer. Franklin Woman’s Club members have been hard at work volunteering, raising funds and/or generously donating to achieve their annual charitable giving goals with the hope of making the holidays brighter for many. During this year’s Season of Giving, the club has donated funds or needed items to the following non – profit organizations:In addition to the initiatives listed in previous posts: 

First Aid/Rescue Squads (East Millstone, Kendall Park, Kingston and Rocky Hill) with a cash donation to help support operations   

Franklin Food Bank with a cash donation for the purchase of food & supplies to fight food insecurity 

The Promise Culinary School, New Brunswick with a cash donation to help fund scholarship awards for the school’s culinary arts students

Quail Brook Senior Center with a cash donation to sponsor an educational or recreational activity for center participants age 60 and above
