The Franklin Woman's Club was a "Steward" level supporter of the recent Franklin Food Bank "Empty Bowls" event. "Empty Bowls" is a grassroots global movement to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. The concept is for us to acknowledge, fill, and empty bowls within our community by our community. Artists have created the beautiful bowls as a symbol for attendees to keep as a reminder of the movement. Locally, the event brought together restaurants, artisans and community members to raise funds to support our community members in need.
